FAQ

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept checks made out to Paws Four You, Inc. or cash.

Who is responsible for food and toys for my pet?

All food, toys, collars, leashes, treats, and the like must be provided by the owner.   If the food runs out while owner is away on vacation, then the owner is responsible for the cost of the food to Paws Four You, Inc.

My cat is a diabetic and needs insulin shots. Do you do this?

No, Paws Four You, Inc. does not offer medical injections at this time.

My dog has allergies and needs to take a pill by mouth. Will you give him his pill for me?

Yes, we do give pills that are given either with food or pill pockets.

I am going away for a week. How many times a day do you recommend for my dog?

Generally, four times a day is best.  Early AM, noontime, dinnertime and a late PM visit.  An hour visit once a day is usually recommended for a longer walk, extra TLC,  and play.

I am using your services for the first time and am going on vacation. Can I have the first time discount in addition to the vacation discount?

No, discounts cannot be built on each other.  In this case, a 10% first time discount would apply. Discounts cannot be combined.

I have a lot of dogs and sometimes don't get around to cleaning up all the piles of poop in my yard. Does your rate include picking up all feces left in the yard prior to the job?

No, Paws Four You, Inc. is only responsible for piles of poop made while at that particular job assignment. If there are many piles left in the yard and the client is going away, it is much appreciated and expected of the client to clean up any piles in the yard so that the dog(s) and pet sitter does not step in anything.

I have an indoor cat and I don't feel a need to vaccinate him. Can I still use your services?

No, Paws Four You, Inc. cannot accept any job where an animal is not vaccinated and up to date on all his shots.  There are no exceptions made.  This is to protect all animals we pet sit as well as all pet sitters.
